1981  December  
After a car crash the band is born in Vigo (Galicia, northwest of Spain) with iconoclastic and neo-dadaist proposals in the lyrics: punk and galician rock against general boredom. 
1982  January 
Demo-tape with twelve songs sent to the radio programme "Esto no es Hawaii" (" This is not Hawaii") conducted by Jesús Ordovás in Radio 3 (Spanish National Broadcasting). 
June 
The E.P. AYUDANDO A LOS ENFERMOS (" Helping the sick people") is released by DRO, one of the new independent labels that was created in that time. 
November 
First album ¿CUANDO SE COME AQUI? ("When do we eat here?"), DRO 82, fifteen tracks recorded in three days. It was a hit in alternative music channels. 
1983  January 
Perfomances in Rock-Ola (Madrid), a key place for the new groups from all over the country. They record two songs for the spanish TV program "Caja de ritmos" ("Rythm box"). Its emission is censored. 
April 
German Coppini (vocals) leaves the band, that records their new album as a trio in september. 
November 
Second album SINIESTRO TOTAL II: EL REGRESO ("The comeback"), DRO 83, with 21 tracks and produced by Paco Trinidad . 
1984  January 
New perfomances in Madrid (Rock Ola), Valencia, Vigo. Bilbao, etc. The maxi-single SURFIN'CCCP, shared with Os Resentidos, is released: it was dedicated to the soviet leaders who died at the time. 
November 
Third album MENOS MAL QUE NOS QUEDA PORTUGAL ("At least we still have got Portugal"), DRO 84, also produced by Paco Trinidad: punk gives way to power-pop and rock. 
1985  May 
Javier F. Soto (guitar) joins the band. In the summer tour some of the concerts are recorded (Valladolid, Vigo, Etc.) 
December 
Fourth album BAILARÉ SOBRE TU TUMBA (" I'll dance upon your grave"), DRO 85, with one side recorded alive and the other one in studio. 
1986  Marzo 
Compilation of B sides and rarities, GRANDES ÉXITOS("Greatest hits"), DRO 86. New spanish tour. 
1987  April 
Sixth album De Hoy No Pasa ("It won't pass beyond today"), DRO 87, last one produced by Paco Trinidad 
October 
Alberto Torrado leaves the band to join Os Resentidos. Julián Hernández leaves drums and start to sing and play the guitar. Siniestro Total is temporaly a trio with studio musicians. 
1988  Abril 
Seventh album ME GUSTA COMO ANDAS ("I like the way you walk"), DRO 88, produced by Eugenio Muñoz: hard rock and rythm'n'blues with = more acid an less optimistic lyrics. Segundo Grandío (bass) and Angel González (drums) join the band. 
September 
Maxi-single ALÉGRAME EL DIA ("Make my day"), first recording with the new line-up. 
1989  February 
Video-clip directed by Antón Reixa: the song was "Hermano bebe" ("Drink, my brother"). 
August 
Journey to Argentina to perform in Buenos Aires within a cycle of Galician activities. 
1990  April 
Eigth album and first gold record EN BENEFICIO DE TODOS ("For the benefit of everybody"), DRO 90, produced by Eugenio Muñoz and recorded in Madrid as all the others. A new member in the shade joins the band: José Manuel Blanco, personal manager. 
1991  January 
LOQUILANDIA is born: a corporation that joins together the different activities of ST ( edition, merchandising, etc). 
September 
Tey leave DRO and join the major label BMG - Ariola. 
1992  February 
Ninth album recorded live in Valencia with tracks from all the previous records: ANTE TODO MUCHA CALMA ("First of all, take it easy"), BMG-Ariola 92, recorded and mixed by Eugenio Muñoz. It is also released in video. 
1993  May-June 
Journey to Memphis (USA) to record with Joe Hardy, producer of ZZ Top, Georgia Satellites, Jeff Healey, etc. 
September 
Tenth album MADE IN JAPAN, BMG- Ariola 93, produced by Joe = Hardy. First video-clip "El hombre medicina" ("The medicine man"), directed by Mikel Clemente. 
December 
Second video-clip "Yo dije yeah!" ( I said yeah!") also directed by Mikel Clemente with the collaboration of Alex de la Iglesia,director of the film "Acción mutante". A book by Jesús Ordovás with the story so far of the band is published: "Siniestro Total: Apocalipsis con grelos" ("Siniestro Total: Apocalypse with Galician food"). 
1994  January 
Miguel Costas leaves the band that remains as a quartet. Winter tour in small clubs with special appearances under other names playing the music of Frank Zappa and other long time favourites of the band (Revolver Club, Madrid; small places in Galicia; etc.). 
April 
Third video by Mikel Clemente "Cuenca minera" ("Miners' basin "). The last album Made in Japan is released in Portugal. 
1995  March-April  
Recording in Memphis again with Joe Hardy. Mikel Clemente shoots pictures along the Mississippi river and a new music video. 
May 
POLICLÍNICO MISERABLE -"Miserable polyclinic"- (BMG-Ariola, 1995) is released: seventeen tracks and drawings by Daspastoras, an amazing comic book artist. First single and video: "Y yo me callo" ("And I shut up"). 
June 
A new musician plays with ST on stage: Jorge Beltrán, who plays alto and tenor saxes and percussion. The band wears new suits designed by Suso Montero. New single and music video shot in Urnieta (Basque Country): "Sólo los estúpidos tienen la conciencia tranquila" ("Only stupis have a clear conscience"). 
August 
Recording of the "satanic rock" track "Mi nombre es Legión" ("My name is Legion" for the Original Soundtrack CD of "El día de la bestia" ("The day of the Beast"), a film by Alex de la Iglesia. 
December 
End of ‘95 tour in Narón (A Coruña).
1996 
January-February 
Working on new stuff: demo tape with 12 songs in spanish, english and galician ("Facundo busca lío", "Land of opportunity", "O que ten cú ten medo", …). 
March 
The "Cultura Popular" ("Popular Culture") project (an audiovisual stravaganza) starts by looking for rare and classic songs from spanish and portuguese bands. Mikel Clemente takes care of the visual part with the colaboration of Iñaki Mintegui and José Luis Arrizabalaga. The stage will be a huge TV set where the band, some actors, projections and video will tell a weird story of spanish pop and rock.  
April 
Along with the "Cultura Popular" project, the ‘96 tour of ST goes on. Some of the concerts are recorded in 24 tracks: Maceda (Galicia), Oviedo, Zaragoza, Madrid and Buenos Aires.  
August 
New video-cassette: "La vida es deliciosa" -"Life is delicious"- (BMG-Ariola, 1996): a compilation of footage and music about life and work of the band in the last two records. There are also music videos and live material. Everything filmed and edited by Mikel Clemente and his efficient crew.  
September 
Hall of Fame, an indie label, releases a CD titled "Unmatched (Tribute to Frank Zappa)", a compilation of spanish band playing Zappa songs. Siniestro Total appears with "Camarillo Brillo" and "Stick it out", both songs recorded live in the Revolver Club, Madrid, in january 1994.  
October 
The 9th and 10th and after a seven months work, "Cultura Popular" is featured in the Palacio de Congresos e Exposicións from Santiago de Compostela. Everything is recorded in audio and video.  
December 
Joe Hardy mixes the music of "Cultura Popular" in ARDENT Studios (Memphis, USA).

End of the ‘96 tour with two gigs in Madrid (La Riviera) and Barcelona (Zeleste).  
December 
A new record with songs for the Xabarín Club, the Galician TV show, is released ("A cantar con Xabarín Vol. III e IV: ¡Cada día somos mais!" - Boa, 1996): a lot of galician and portuguese artists collaborate. Siniestro Total plays the song "O que ten cú ten medo" ("Anyone who’s got an ass has fear") recorded with Kaki Arkarazo (of Negu Gorriak fame).

ST play two shows in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in Dr. Jekyll Club.

1997 
January 
Again working on mew material and Segundo Grandío (the bass player in the band) mixes the best of the 96 live tapes. The album is called "Así empiezan las peleas" ("Thus begin the fights") and is going to be a Latin America only edition.  
February 
The new Siniestro Total web site: www.siniestro.com, made by the GeNeura Team premieres.
March 
The band signs a new contract with Virgin Records — not standard records are going to be released.
April 
On april the 11th is released "Cultura Popular" on CD, cassette and video, with the whole show. Two days before (wednesday the 9th) the band will play it live on stage in the Sala Caracol club in Madrid.

Siniestro Total goes back to America in may. The tour will include gigs and TV shows (Latin MTV) in New York, Miami, México, Argentina, Perú, Uruguay….
